To be more clear...the rear jacks are tip sleeve only with a mono cable on the loop. No ring connector. I don't use the Solo in the loop anymore as I ran out of loops. Time to add another GCX!

I still haven't figured out the source of the popping. Here's my rig diagram. Can anyone tell if I hooked it up incorrectly?

The setup looks to be correct. In order to be sure its not some interaction or other noise coupling, try connecting your guitar directly to the Input of the Stiletto with nothing else in the signal path including disconnecting anything in the effect loop, then switch the channels of the amp with loop 8 of the GCX. In other words, the only things connected to the amp should be your guitar, GCX loop 8, the speaker cabinet, and of course the power cord ;) . You can leave everything else connected to the GCX, but try it with everything else powered down first. We will get to the bottom of this (I hope!).
