Rack help

Post by reaper121088 »

Hi.
I currently have my rack set up and working fine with the GCX and GCP.
I'm using a Krank rev1 head, Digitech delay and Digitech Chorus. I just wanted to have the option of putting a rack noise gate (or compressor/limiter) and possibly a multi effects rack instead of my pedals and still control everything with the GCX and GCP. I've dot delay in loop 1, chorus in 2, amp in... 8, I think... I'll post diagrams when I can. should the amp be in loop 1 instead? A bit confusing, but I didn't think it would make much difference to the sound.
Lastly, I want to add a volume pedal to the rig as well... to act as a master. Any help would be great! Thanks.

The amp can be in any loop you want... I assume this is for channel switching?

In this case you currently do not have anything that will let you control the volume via MIDI so a volume pedal would have to be routed into the audio path. A series effects loop on the amplifier is likely the best choice. If you later add an effects processor you would likely be able to control volume through the processor via MIDI from the Ground Control Pro.
