Ground Control Device Program Number
When in “Programming Devices Mode” (on Page 20 of the Ground Control manual), when assigning a program number for each device. What is this program number used for? In other words…In the example in the manual “TRIAXIS – 18, where TRIAXIS is the Device Name and 18 is the Program Number, what is the function of the 18 and how is it used?
Re: Ground Control Device Program Number
That is the MIDI Program Change message that you will be sending to your MIDI device for that particular Ground Control preset. This number also usually corresponds to the displayed patch number on devices like effects processors. What MIDI devices are you trying to control with your Ground Control?

Re: Ground Control Device Program Number
Thanks! That makes perfect sense now. I'm TRYING to control a Hammond XM2, TC Electronic G-Force, Axon AX 50 and an Alesis QSR. I'm having trouble controlling the volume on the QSR. The pedal registers with the Ground Control, so I think it may be a setting on the QSR.
Thanks Again,
Tim

Re: Ground Control Device Program Number
The Expression Pedal's function and target device is programmed on each Ground Control preset. When you are looking at the screen that shows the current pedal position (the numbers that scroll when the pedal is moved) and "CTL" number, press the Cursor Right button to make sure it is sending this information to the correct named device. What version software do you have on this Ground Control?
