The GCPro and the GCX are great products. I struggled for a little while in figuring out what can and can not be done, but overall these units have great potential for my live performance.

A quick review of my previous posts in this thread shows my learning curve with these products. I have now come to the point where 4 presets/bank will not do what I want it to do  . I do not have a reason to send 8 different CC messages at this time. Once I get more sophisticated with these units, I may change my mind, but for now, I am not ready.

I have now started programming the buttons in the standard 10 presets/bank. I think this will better serve me at this time. It is working great and I can't wait to for my bandmates to notice my huge difference in being able to dial in the exact settings for all the cover tunes we do :o

However, I do have a question (a request).

In 10presets/bank you can assign program changes to the buttons but not CC. In 4 presest/bank you can assign CC but not program changes.

It seems a rather simple bit of programming (on your end) would allow both options for both setups. Example: when I am setting up buttons in 10 preset mode, I could just bank down and select either CC or program changes. Likewise, while in 4 preset mode, I could bank down and select either CC or program changes.

Could this be available in a future revision? Or does it only make sense to me? I wonder why this feature is not available now.
