Multiple GCX Situation

Can you help answer what is most likely a simple question that I cannot figure out? I have 2 GCX units that I want to hook up. How do I accomplish this? I read the manual and there's a bit in there about a MIDI cable from the pedal out to the IN of the 2nd unit, but is that all I need?

The MIDI connections are just as stated... MIDI Out of the first GCX to the Pedal In on the second GCX. If you are using a Ground Control or Ground Control Pro, you will need to enable the second GCX within Setup Mode. I hope that helps!
