I'm in the process of re-doing my rig.. I checked to see if the problem was bad cables.. all of them were good.. my only guess is that there's a problem with the GCX..
When controlling with the Liquid Foot, the front lights light up when called up and I can hear clean guitar sound but the delay effect does not come out... I tried hooking up the delays to my other GCX and everything works well... so the delay works... What could be the problem?
Thanks!
Helena
GCX no fx sound... just clean guitar sound...

the GCX that had this problem was the GCX #3. I had the #3 chip installed that I got from Voodoo Lab.. when I changed back to the original chip, the delays worked!
I guess I'll call Voodoo Lab on monday to see if I can get a replacement chip #3?
Re: GCX no fx sound... just clean guitar sound...
I think what you mean is that you would want a replacement #1 chip... the standard chip that originally was in the GCX. Give us a call or write to info@voodoolab.com for ordering the chip you need.
By the way, the #3 chip will only change the Control Change messages that the GCX responds to. Control Change messages 64-71(Latching) 96-103(Momentary) on MIDI Channel 16 is what you should program your controller to send if you have the #3 chip installed.
