Getting Instant Access Buttons To Remain Lit??

Post by Condo111 »

Just a quick simple question hopefully - basically I want to know how I get the GCP's Instant Access buttons to appear lit when that particular effect is on the pre-set (I am using the TC Electronic G Major)

In other words I set an instant access button to ''chorus'', yet when I change a pre-set that already has chorus selected the instant access button will not light, and have to tap it twice to turn it off

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

Right I just found my own answer from John on a different thread!

Here's the answer

In order to make the status of your re-programmed Instant Access buttons match with patches you are recalling on any MIDI device, you must save the state of the Instant Access button to your Ground Control Pro preset. Here is a quick guide...
1. Call up the Ground Control Pro preset you wish to edit.
2. Press any of the Instant Access buttons that should be active for this preset.
3. Press and hold the Edit button, release it Once the screen changes to your device name.
4. Press the Edit button then the Yes button to save the state of these Instant Access buttons.

Transmit with Preset is only needed if you need to send the current state of the Instant Access button as programmed with your Ground Control Pro preset. For instance if the Program Change sent by the Ground Control Pro preset is recalling a patch that already has Chorus on it, you do not need to have your Chorus Instant Access button set to "XMIT W/PRESET".
