GCP IA Functions question

Post by RoyceW »

Hey,

I'm running a Hughes and Kettner Statesman head along with the GCX/GCP combo. For whatever reason, the channel switching function on my amp is reversed, so when I engage a loop to activate my A/B IA switch, it switches to the clean channel (default is gain channel).

Is there any way I can reverse the function of the GCP IA, so that when the function isn't engaged, my amp will be on the clean channel rather than the gain channel? I'm constantly having to re-program as I have a few different setlists that I go between, so this would make my life 100% easier. Still need an editor for Mac!

Thanks!

Is the GCX performing the channel/function switching on the amp? If so, simply use the opposite switching jack on the GCX Loops that control the amp functions... for instance if you are using the Send/N.C. jack, try instead using the Out/N.O. jack.

I hope that helps!
