Thanks, John; too bad I finished my last bottle of Porfidio ;)

I have a TV show to do in NY mid-May; I'll be using the old GC due to its form factor. I'll ping you guys when I get back.

BTW, do you prefer añejo, reposada or plata?

Porfidio is on our approved tequila list. Añejo, of course.

The engineering time to modify the old Ground Control firmware would likely exceed the cost of a Control Switcher (U.S. street $139). Also, considering your Ground Control will soon be celebrating its 20th birthday, it wouldn't be a bad idea to replace it with a Ground Control Pro. However, if you make the arrangements to update your original GC and it happens to show up with approved tequila, I would be inclined to do the mod.

This is only because you have good taste in tequila.
