Ok. Here's the latest diagram with my solution to combine feeds from my JS-2400 or my EVH or the mag pickups on my strat with the piezo output running through the Book simulator in Loop #7 on the lower GCX.
Nyteowl: I looked back through your post and the warning you gave me about the setting for loop 1 and loop 5(now loop 6), but I don't think that applies. It seems to me i'll be fine. Loop 6 off means the signal get routed to the EVH 5150 and Loop 6 on means the signal get routed to the Blackstar through the Duetto. Make sense?
New Rig Help Needed
Re: New Rig Help Needed
What you said makes sense, but it's not what I was warning you about. You're talking about how you're routing the signal going into your two amps and switching between them, but I was talking about the signals being routed thru the Send/Return jacks of two separate amp FX Loops.
With regard to your new drawing, GCX 2/Loop 6 applies to switching amps, while GCX1/Loops 1 and 5 are where you're routing the FX Loops. I still believe it would be wise to ensure those two loops are both always either Active or Inactive, to avoid cross-matching one amp's pre-amp with the other amp's power section.

Re: New Rig Help Needed
Oh ok. I get it now. Make total sense to me.
Actually, I've revised my goals for using the AxeFx-II. What I wanted to do was going to require I use a 4 Cable method to route signal correctly for my AxeFx-II unit. It was getting way more complicated than what I actually didn't and I'm already nervous about a very complicated rig breaking down during a gig and me not being able to correct and modify to keep things going....
