I have my two EBJRs wired opposite from one another and they are both working fine. I can't explain why they work backwards but they do... I am not changing a thing on that :)

It is possible that the color coded 1/4 plugs are not colored the same. The only way I could determine that is if I do a continuity test or something like that... However, as I said, I am going to leave good enough alone. I have one for volume and the other for effect-right now the effect is delay but I want to make it work as a harmonizer. I have not yet figured that out.

John, I think you are right about the volume... I will make edits within the GMAJ2 to try to change the sweep in terms of having a muted position to max volume position.

I'm good with you leaving it as is since it is working, but something isn't adding up here... I suspect the same, that your Insert Cables are not both wired/colored the same way.

Anyway, Right on!

The G-Major 2 has a "Whammy" setting and getting it set up is shown in the G-Major 2 User Manual in the Mod Menu section. Look to External Control Using Modifiers, then the Assigning an expression pedal as a Whammy example.

In fact, the External Control Using Modifiers section also shows how to change the response curve of an expression pedal.

I hope that helps!
