What is the MIDI cable path from Ground Control Pro MIDI Out?

What are your other Instant Access buttons set to?

Also, as a test, try setting the Program Change for the D-Two on these two Presets to "--" (type either "00" or "128") and save that way. Then check if bouncing between the two presets correctly sets the Bypass state.

I am using channel 1 for the d-two, have an Eventide H9 on CH5. and the 5150 3 50 watt on ch 10.
For the signal path, I have the MIDI out of the GCP going to the GCX Pedal in, then GCX midi out to the eventide H9 midi in, midi out from H9 to the D Two in, D two thru to the 5150 3. I have the pedal set for the 4 presets, 8 IA's... the first 5 IA's are controlling the 5 pedals I have plugged into the GCX. I have IA 6 controlling the bypass on the H9 (which is working with no issue in bypassing with the CC sent with preset, like I'm trying to get the D two to do as well) and IA's 7 and 8 are currently open/the ones in play to use with the D two. I will test the 00 and 128 this AM... however, is that just to test that the D two will go bypass and active with pressing the new preset once? because if i left it as such, I wouldnt be able to control which preset it goes to with a preset change, just the preset I manually turn it to and only control active/bypass switching.

alright tried it like you suggested with setting the presets to 00 or 128... behaves the same way.... it all works until I go in a preset that started in bypass, then take it out while using the preset, and switch straight to another preset that should be bypassed... have to double click to get it to activate bypass

I just tested a Ground Control Pro programmed the same way using a MIDI Monitor and can confirm that the proper Control Change message is being sent with every push of a Preset button. So this is a real head scratcher.

1. What MIDI Channel are you using for the D-Two?
2. What is the MIDI cable path after the Ground Control Pro MIDI Out?
3. What are your other Instant Access buttons set to do?

Alternatively, do you have a MIDI Interface that would allow you to do a memory dump to a computer and email me the file?

I don't have a midi program to dump the files into

Right on, thank you.

1. You'll want to make sure the D-Two itself is set to only receive on MIDI Channel 1.

2. Try running the MIDI Out of the GCX to the MIDI In on the D-Two and test again.
