Ok guys, first of all the Boogie Triaxis. I bought a new output pot and it made no difference at all!!.... Seeing as the difference between left and right isn't that bad I've just adjusted the output volume of the power amp to compensate, and that's dealt with that issue until I get the Triaxis serviced in a couple of months.
On with the rack and pedal board build.
I've had to change the wiring of the rack to accommodate the fact that I'm now running the G-Force through the Triaxis effects loop which now seems to be working fine. I've also started building and wiring the ancillary boxes for the pedal board, notably a break out box for the multi core, from the pedal board back to the rack. Here's a rather fetching picture of the break out box which I custom made from a Hammond enclosure and a load of jack sockets etc
This is the side for the Multi core cable from the rack, hence the powercon input socket
Here is the other side of the box, this has got the power output socket for the Voodoo Lab ISO 5 that I'll be buying for the board, and also the various midi and audio connections for the board mounted pedals etc.
I've also got my GCX Switcher up for sale on that famous auction site (If anyone wants a link contact me), as I'm using the money to finance the purchase of a fully stereo converted GCX that has been offered to me.

Update..... I've sold my GCX Audio switcher ........................... And bought a Stereo GCX Audio Switcher, for virtually the same money I sold my old Mono switcher for .... happy days. I now have 8 stereo loops
With this being the case, is there any mileage in wiring the G-Force in stereo through one of the loops, or is it better to keep it in the fx loop of the Triaxis? I'm thinking that if I wire the Triaxis effects loop into one of the the GCX's sterep loops I can then add more "clock" based effects later (Flanger etc) as they'll probably be better in the fx loop.
Second question..... If I have a stereo effect in say loop 7, to maintain the stereo signal must the effect in loop 8 be stereo as well? Must stereo effects go last in the chain to maintain the stereo signal? i'm assuming the answer is yes, but thought i'd ask. what happens to mono effects that are wired with stereo patch cables in the GCX, will it still pass the stereo signal through, whilst maintaining the mono effect but basically in dual mono?

Congrats on the full stereo GCX!
If you will have more things in the FX Loop and want to control them individually rather than just the basic FX Loop On/Off then you will likely want to put each device in a GCX Loop.
Stereo devices should be last in the chain. You cannot run a stereo device into a mono device and maintain a stereo image. About the connections using Stereo cables... basically, the mono devices have Mono, TS (Tip/Sleeve) jacks. If you connect a Stereo TRS (Tip/Ring/Sleeve) cable to these you will only get the signal that is on on the Tip going through. The signal on the Ring will just be left floating and going nowhere.

What I might do is split the GCX... Loops 1 thru 4 for mono effects, and loops 5 thru 8 going through the FX loop, i can then add the G-Force, and any other time based effects to the loop in the Triaxis.

I've nearly finished my new pedal board.... see the picture... It's rather a large one, oooohh eeeeerr misses LOL
Just got to finish the wiring for the wah, and the midi wiring from the ground control to the patch box. I have a snake that plugs into the patch box that carries power for the isolated power supply that's on order, That will be powering the wah, and also any other pedals that i decide to put on the board in the future. Other cables in the snake are send and return for the wah, and also the send for the tap tempo and midi. The small blue box is the tap tempo box I made for the TC G-Force. This is plugged directly into the external control input socket on the back of the G-Force.
The wah is heavily modified. it's a dunlop enclosure and that's where it ends. The circuit is an Area 51 Italian wah circuit, and the wah has been modified with a reverse wah switch, which basically reverses the input and output. Effectively having the guitar plugged into the output, and the amp plugged into the input..... David Gilmour anyone?
2 Ernie Ball volume pedals..... One is being used exclusively as a volume, and the other as an expression pedal for various patches on the G-Force.

Interesting project. I realize I can eliminate a host of potential wiring mistakes/problems by adding a patch bay to my rack. The python is a great idea too.
