Bogner Fish - Control Switcher - Which MIDI controller?

Hey guys,
I was happy to acquire an used Bogner Fish preamp from the early 90's. The preamp has 4 channels of madness that can be switched via two outputs. I am currently using a Boss FS6 for channel switching but it is quite a pain since I have to use two buttons at once to get a certain channel. I want to use the Fish with the Control switcher and a MIDI controller so that I have access to each channel via one foot switch.
Is it possible to use a Voodoo Lab Pedal Switcher as a controller for the Control Switcher or is this controller only for pedal loops suitable? I did not find any information in that subject in the manual. Other than that, a Boss FC50 should work, doesn't it? I might get one used as well but I would prefer a Voodoo Lab controller besides the GCX and ground control that is a bit easier concerning the price. Can you guys help me? The Pedal Switcher would be perfect with its four buttons and it is not huge, either.
Thank you very much in advance!
Regards,
Nico
