Ground control/ GCX with TC G-system (again)

Made the mistake of buying a TC G-System to utilize its FX-unit rack mounted and ditch the heavy floor board (except for setting up effects). When trying to integrate it with my rig I realise I'm not able to reach my user presets, just as everyone elso who walked into this trap (due to a STUPID MIDI patch- layout in the TC-System which won't let you assigne desired MIDI-input per user patch)

Stuck in the MIDI Bank Select-trap having to send CC# + PC# from my Ground control which only does PC#.
Preferably, I would like to use the Ground control as stage floor board.

My questions are:
1. Is there any update available yet to the Ground control to have it send CC# + PC#?
2. Does anyone know of any 3'rd part unit which can be programed to convert PC# to CC# + PC#? Example- When recieving MIDI PC# 11 -> Send MIDI CC#1 + PC#11?
3. IF I have to use the G-systems heavy floor board and which to use it to loop switch the GCX, I've understood the current-pins in the MIDI cable has to be disconnected to not burn the G-System. Is there a clear discription somewhere of which pins to disconnect? Additionally, this should be done at the calble? Right?


Hope there is a way to work around not having to use dual floor bords and not have to sell my recently purchased G-System and buy something else..

Ahh the dreaded fixed banks accessible only via MIDI Bank Change!

We do have alternate firmware for the Ground Control Pro where one of the added features is that it will do MIDI Bank change. The firmware never really left the Beta version and is lacking any real documentation, but if you are familiar with programming on a Ground Control Pro it shouldn't be too difficult to navigate.
