Will a HEX work with an old Commander?

I’m looking at getting a HEX, and wondered whether they are compatible with a Commander switcher?
HEX will work with a Commander using the Program Change message the Commander sends with each preset.
On the HEX you will need to enable MIDI Program Changes on MIDI Channel 1. After that you will be able to recall a Commander preset, set the HEX Loops how you would like and save the loops on HEX by pressing both buttons 1 and 6 at the same time on the HEX. It's LEDs will flash to confirm a successful save.
