Possibly dead GCX

Hello all,

I bought a used GCX and GCP this week. I plugged them both in using the GCX's OEM wall wart which the previous owner included.
Nothing plugged into any of the loops, just the GCP plugged in to the Pedal in.
They both powered on and completed the startup sequence. I tried the footswitches to confirm the GCP was talking to the GCX.
Cool, I unplugged both and proceeded to put the GCX in a rack and wire up all of my pedals to the loops.

Finished, plugged the GCP and power back in. Flip the power switch on the GCX and nothing happens.
No lights on the GCX, nothing. Plugged the wall wart into another power strip just to check, still nothing.

Would the GCX not power up if there was an issue with one or more of the patch cables plugged into the loops?
I don't see a fuse or anything on the GCX.
