Hi guys I wonder if you can help. I wish to incorporate a gcx in to my system to do all my switching, and would love some assistance
In my rack I have the following:
Furman power
Synergy syn 2 preamp
Tc electronic g force
Tc d2
Voodoo gcx (yet to be purchased)
Pedal tray with the following:
-Wampler ego compressor pedal loop 1
-Ibanez HW Tubescreamer loop 2. Output of this loop, goes to amp input

The following is always on, in ther amp fx loop
-TC G-force
-boss eq200 pedal
-2 x bbe sonic stomp mini

-voodoo labs tremolo pedal Loop 3 (in the effects loop chain of the amp)
-walrus audio Julia v2 loop 4 (in the effects loop chain of the amp)

In the effects loop of of amp OR send from the synergy syn2 fx loop
-voodoo tremolo pedal loop 3
-walrus audio Julia v2 chorus pedal loop 4.
-tc electronics D2 loop 8. Output of this loop to the input of the tc g-force, this connected in stereo to the boss eq-200 pedal, which is then fed Into 2 bbe sonic stomp mini. The output of each bbe sonic stomp to the return stage of the heads OR the return L/R of the synergy syn2 fx loop

I would like to keep loop 5 free for amp head channel switching.

Would I be able to use the friedman head (or the Mesa tc 50 head), & a/b between an amp head and the synergy syn2

What do you think? How can I go about doing this? will this work?
