system mix plus volume vca

Hello
I own a System Mix Plus and use it in my guitar rack. The volume VCA is used to control the overall signal volume level directly before the poweramp in of my Mesa Boogie Mark IV. As controller I use a Rocktron All Access with a Boss/Roland - FV 300H Volume Pedal as Controller Pedal. The min level of the Boss/Roland - FV 300H is set to maximium for rhytm Solo Level.
Now here is my question... based on the min setting of the Boss Volume Pedal the Midi range of the continous controller (controller No.7) is between 116 and 127 (shown in the All Access). But the increase/decrease of the overall volume is too high for changing between Rythm and Solo. Can you tell what the reason is? What can I do to fit the volume leves?
best regards
Lutz
