HI all

I'm new to the forum and recently got my PX8 plus , i had a look at the forum and whilst there are many similar treads none seemed to actually get the where i am

I'm trying to replicate my rigs set up before i got the PX8 but i got to a stuck point now where i really don't know best way to proceed.

My rig is :

PRE -1 ( Avalon U5 )
PRE- 2 ( Sansamp RBI )
Crown XLI800 Power amp 2 channel

Pedal Chain :

Lethe Dual Output Channel A -> Octave -> Delay -> Bass Synth -> Avalon U5 ( PRE -1 )
Lehle Dual Output Channel B -> Overdrive -> Fuzz -> Overdrive#2 -> Compressor -> Sansamp ( PRE-2 )

In the past I had my pedals configures in such way where i used a Lehle Dual ABY to bi-amp when doing cover of Muse , Royal Blood etc where i would select either PRE#1 for clean bass sounds and PRE2 for distortion and more hard sound and often like in the example running both giving the PRE1 and PRE2 and relevant pedals linked to them

i cannot figure out how to replicate the above using the PX8 , ideally remove the Lehle Dual .

Also in the event of have more than 8 pedals how can I expand the loops , would using a Voodoo HEX help ?

Hi there,
You can do this, still use your Lehle as your splitter but you don’t need to use it after that, if you don’t want to.

Are there pedals that you don’t turn off in both channels? If so you can free up Loops.

If you had the Hex now, you could use it to turn Amps on or off or both on. At the moment just with the PX8 Plus you can’t. But I may be wrong.

Do your channel A into loops 1-3 out of the Loop 4 Snd to your Avalon.
Do your channel B into the Loop 4 Rtn to Loop 8 then Out to your Sans Amp.

Still use the Lehle to switch between channel A & B and both.

I'll try thaT , ideally i would like to use the LEHLE as I Like to control when BIamp.

would the use on the channel break instert send/return work if i want the put some effects behine the chain like modulation etc?

In the insert, the effect will always be on, between loop 6 & 7, but you can do this.
