I control 3 midi capable pedals and, a pedal switcher with my GCP. On one of the pedals I control, I want to send a specific midi value on a specific CC#.

Is there any way to change the value that the GCP sends?

Hi there, what pedals and what cc# do you want to send, I’ll have a muck around with mine now.

Is it with a preset you want to do this?

The only way to send a cc is with an instant access button that I can see. Can you make a preset in the pedals with the settings you want and the select those presets? If you tell me what pedals and what cc you want to send them, I’ll see if I can help you more.

Hi there,
Another thing is, if you have set instant access buttons to these cc# messages, you can add them to a preset by having that instant access button pressed, with the light, on then hold the edit button, then after the screen changes, tap the edit button again, it should ask to save, tap yes and it should be done.

If you mean the Control Change Data Value, then no... the Ground Control Pro will toggle the Data value as either 0 or 127.

What is the pedal you want to control?

I suppose that's what I meant. Haven't seen anyone call it that though. My apologies.

I'm using it in conjunction with a pedal switcher, Line 6 HX stomp and, strymon timeline. So many things I could do if I could send a value other than 0 or 127. Sucks to hear this.

Are there any plans to update the GCP to compete with all the other midi controllers out now?

A possible solution you could have right away is adding something like the MIDI Solutions Event Processor to Map the Data 0 or 127 to be whatever value you like.
