Gcx helllllllllppppp!!!

Proud owner of a GCX & GCP
Turned on GCX yesterday and got strange “whirring” noise like relays clicking in and out really quickly, turned off immediately but strange smell coming from power inlet.

Powering up ok but no longer sending power to GCP

Using 9Volt ac supply from my MXR/CAE MC403 and has worked perfectly for yonks.

STRANDED!
any suggestions warmly welcomed

Hi there,
Doesn’t sound good. I’d say open it up and have a look, if you could smell it, I’d say you’ll be able to see it to and you’ll be able to order the bit you require to fix it yourself.
