To hard wire the jumpers between the loops, basically mod it to a more hardwired setup?

It is possible to hardwire jumpers between the GCX loops. Any competent tech should be able to accomplish this with ease. I would suggest marking the outside of the chassis in such a way that makes it clear that this mod has been done. Any loops internally jumpered will no longer be able to be used for amplifier channel/function switching.
