Where is GCP firmware update for 11R?

Sean Halley refers to it in the newest videos, but where is it and when can we expect to be able to download?

The new software is coming soon, but I have no release date to share with you at this time. The update will be in the form of a chip that can be installed by the user, there will be no option to download it. Once there is a real release date to share, you can bet it will be immediately posted to the announcements section.

In the interim I can help you with any questions you may have if you currently have a Ground Control Pro and an Eleven Rack setup you want to configure.

Thanks John. So the new firmware will completely map all 11R presets? Will it also map the instant access controllers?

I think I asked this before: I want to be able to access presets above 128. If the firmware will do it I can wait. If not then I would like to know how to do it.

The new Ground Control Pro software will include a template that loads all the factory preset names and configures the Instant Access buttons to control individual effect bypass and tap tempo on Eleven Rack.

The new Ground Control Pro software will include the ability to perform MIDI Bank Change so every patch location can be recalled on virtually any processor.

This is great John. I cannot wait to get my hands on the update, will watch the announcments closely. I am really digging the GCP and 11R, opening whole new doors and levels for my guitar playing. Just wish I had this technology when I was in my teens and twenties!
