Hi,
I would like to not saving the state of the instant access buttons with a preset. I really want them to behave totally independently while using the bank and 1-4 buttons to select programs. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Geert

You can do this if the Instant Access buttons are controlling GCX loops by disabling the GCX within your Ground Control Pro presets. This cannot be done if you have reprogrammed the Instant Access buttons for something other than GCX loops.

That's a major bummer! This means that when I switch presets, the state of what I control with the instant buttons doesn't correspond to what the buttons show. What is sent out when GCX loops are being used? Can I get the data through MIDI also?

I'm using the instant access buttons to send CC messages that arrive at my computer to turn effects, virtual instruments, plugin, ... on or off. These should be independent from the presets. I use the presets to change my global guitar sounds, however this is independent from the instant access buttons. I don't care which CC the instant access buttons send, as long as it's a clearly different value for on and off, and they work totally independently from the presets.

I tried what you suggested with the GCX loops and disabling them for the presets, and I think this will work. Thanks!
