Hey guys,

I am having trouble connecting 2 exp pedals to the gcp and having my axe fx see them as pedals. When connecting to the back of the axe fx they work fine. But, that requires really long cables for being on stage. The gcp has 2 pedal inputs, but when I use them the axe recognizes pedal 1 as IA7 and doesn't see pedal 2 at all. I know there are plenty of guys using the gcp with the axe fx and I'm hoping one of you out there can give me a tip to get them to communicate. I also posted on the axe fx forum but haven't got a response yet.

Have you enabled both Expression Pedals within Setup Mode on the Ground Control Pro? Have you assigned both Expression Pedals within each Ground Control Pro preset for the Control Change number and target device?

I guess not. How do I do that?

Crack open that Ground Control Pro manual and start reading up is always the first step.
For instructions on enabling the expression pedals, look to the Pedal section under Setup Mode.
For instructions on how to assign an expression pedal function within a Ground control Pro preset, look to the Using Expression Pedals section under Edit Preset.
