Hello folks!

I just got my Ground Control Pro yesterday and I am having good luck with setting it up with my G-Major2. Really digging this board. Night and day over what I had before, Behringer FCrapB1010. Had it for a whole 1 week before realizing I didn't like it.

Anyway, I am setting up the presets and I am adding an Expression Pedal to it. Like the video shows, do I need to go into every preset I want to use the Expression and/or Volume and set the CC? Is there a way to have it always be available and use CC 7 and 27 (for the second one)?

There is no global setting for the Expression Pedals. You will have to go into each Ground Control Pro preset and assign the function of each Expression Pedal. The reason for this is that you may not want the Expression Pedals to always perform the same function or even control the same device.
It perhaps seems a little bit of a bummer right now but you will be singing praise down the line when you have a need for one of the expression pedals to control another parameter on the G-Major2 for one song, or if you add another MIDI device to your rig and want to sometimes control some of its functions. The Ground Control Pro will grow with you and your rig so I suspect it will be under your foot for many years.
