Ground Control display update

Getting on well with the ground control unit, but, I run a sequencer for backing/effects on some tracks and have added a control track to change progs in my G Major processor.
This is the problem - the ground control unit doesn't update it's display to show the prog that the processor has been changed too!!!! is there something i've missed in the midi setup????
The sequencer and the ground control have their midi signals merged before the G Major so both can control it, and then there is a midi out from the G Major to the Ground Control midi in.
Would it be better to merge the midi signal on the Ground Control midi in???? so my sequencer controls the Ground Control and in turn the G Major????

Confused???????? yes nearly

It would probably be better to enable Program Receive within the Ground Control Pro and have the sequencer remotely recall Ground Control Pro presets that in turn control the G-Major. Doing so will allow you to remotely recall Ground Control Pro presets via Program Change messages from the sequencer. This will keep the Ground Control Pro screen up to date at all times.

Hi Mr. Ian,
what sequencer are you using to send control changes to the G-Major?
I was interested in doing this too, after reading about something similar at http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/gear-a ... -woot.html but I couldn't find any more info about it and arrived at the conclusion I'd need to be running ProTools to do it (lol and you can bet I don't own ProTools and don't want to use a laptop with my live rig!)

I'd love to be able to automate my control and program changes to a click track, how are you doing this mate? What gear are you using?

Cheers bud, Dawesy
