Old GCX switcher buffer question

Hi,

I will be getting myself an ISP Decimator Pro Rack G unit. My question is if I wire my rig as descirbed below. Would there be too much buffering in my signal since both Feed-Thru IN 1 & 2 are buffered on my old switcher?

My signal chain:-

Guitar->Wah->ISP Ch1 (buffered)->GCX->VHT 2/50/2 Power Amp

Loop 1 (RC Booster)
Loop 2 (Phaser 90)
Loop 3 (Flanger)
->Soldano X88R Preamp->
Loop 5 (ISP Ch2-> "Y" ->Loop 4 & Loop 8)
Loop 4 (Gmaj 2 Left)
(Gmaj 2 Relay <-> Preamp Channel 1 switching)
Loop 6 (Preamp Channel 2 switching)
Loop 7 (Preamp Channel 3 switching)
Loop 8 (Gmaj 2 right)

Thanks in advance

Tony

You can run the Channel 1 Output of the Decimator directly to the In of GCX Loop 1. This will probably be easier to route anyway since the outputs on the Decimator are on the back panel. Good luck!

True enough...I never thought of that.:oops: This would solve the buffer issue. Thanks again as always, John
