Hi there
does somebody on this forum is using JVM head via MIDI?
Any experience you might share?
Is it complicated to make it work?
Thanks

The JVM is a MIDI amp that will learn whatever messages you are sending to it. It should be as simple as pressing a button on the Ground Control Pro, setting the amp to the sound you desire, then pressing the store button on the amplifier.
Good Luck!

Hi John
Thank you very much for reply
I am not sure if you are willing to help me out how to get everything connected
In my set-up
If you can draw something for me it would be great
This is what I have:
Marshall JVM(MIDI)
Maxon Overdive
Mi Crunch box
Tuner
Boosta Grande(Loop)
Glass nexus FX (MIDI)

How do you want these things routed? Mainly, what effects are to be in front of the amp and which ones would you want to run in the effects loop? Is the Boosta Grande the only one to be in the JVM's effects loop?

Thanks John
I will have Boosta Grande in the effect loop.
Glass nexus and JVM i will connect it Via Midi
I am wondering if Glass nexus has to be connected first Via Midi or JVM?
And 2 overdrive pedals in the front. Also tuner in the front(?)
I appreciate your help

Your setup would be quite like this example drawing from the main site...
http://www.voodoolab.com/gcxdiagrams/01 ... _AmpSw.pdf
The only differences would be that you are running only 3 things in front of the amp and no loops are required for channel switching in your case. You mention that the Glass Nexus will be connected via MIDI and that is true, but MIDI is only for control information and does not carry any audio. I assume that you will be routing the Glass Nexus through the JVM Effects Loop with the Boosta Grande.
I hope that helps!

You are right.
About MIDI
Should i get first go into amplifier then to Glass Nexus or otherwise?
And tuner goes in front right?
Thanks

The order of the MIDI connections don't really make much difference. The only important one would be to connect the Ground Control Pro to the GCX first so the GCX can phantom power the Ground control Pro.
The tuner should be first in the audio path.
