Is there any news on the release of the new updated version ?

What will the updates be ?

Any chance of an effects loop ?
That would make it a must have for me.

Am I asking in the wrong place ??

I recently heard the preamp and I really want to get one, but if it's being improved, I can wait a while.

However if it's going to be a long time, I need to look for a different product.

While I do have a lot of answers, I do not have all the answers immediately. Sorry for the wait. Unfortunately, I can't really help much because there is no set date for the release of the Voodoo Lab Guitar Preamp at this time.

The slated changes will be...
-Direct MIDI control for channel switching.
-A MIDI footswitch that can be incorporated into just about any existing MIDI system to automate channel switching.
-A secondary Guitar Input on the rear panel that is defeated whenever the front panel Guitar Input is used.
