pedal switcher as instant access

Post by sasquatch »

hi again. i know it is possible to connect a pedal switcher to be controlled by the cround control, and that the IA switches on the ground control can be programmed to use any loop from multiple switchers. can the loops on the pedal switcher be programmed to work as instant access switches for GCX units?

I'm pretty sure the answer to this is no.
The VL Pedal Switcher acts more like 1/2 of a GCX rather than a GC Pro.
I don't believe it sends out any MIDI commands when you step on it's switches.

Do you mean if the Ground Control Pro can call up instant switches on a pedal switcher? In that case, yes.

You will find the Pedal Switchers under "Expanders" on the GCP.
You can assign any switch on a PS to work as a instant access.

Hope it answers the question.
