Hello guys,

I got an old GC used mainly to control an Eventide Time Machine, preferred it to the GCPro for its dimensions. I would like to add also a GCX now, I have few pedals and it is cool to program the FX loop for the delay directly in the global sound setting.

My question is: does the GC1 control the current GCX perfectly? Sorry if I ask, but i don't know the products very well and abviously the VL site only refers to the last gear.

EDIT...I forgot to say the software is ver. 2.4

You have version 2 of the original Ground Control. It is no problem to control the GCX. The main differences in controlling a GCX are:

-The Ground Control Pro can control 4 GCX and the Ground Control only 1 without adding more memory.
-The Ground Control Pro gives you 8 instant access buttons to directly control loops, the Ground Control only has 6.
