My #4 switch on my Ground Control Pro is failing intermittently (sometimes it works fine, sometimes you have to push it several times before it works). Is there any special switch I need to get to replace it?

Does the Ground Control Pro screen or status LED for this button change when the button is pressed?

Hey John,
Mike S. here...I actually have this same problem...I have my GCP setup 1-4 preset changing, and ocassionally switch four will not work. The light doesn't change and it doesn't effect the screen. There are times when it will work for days..then nothing, hit a few times and it is back. Is there a way to clean the switch or is something more drastic needed?

I actually had this happen as well. So i had a look inside and as it turns out the circuit board had shifted a bit so if i hit switch #1 at an angle the switch would not connect with the circuit board in the right spot. So i loosened the screws holding down the circuit board and shifted it over a bit until it lined up perfectly with the buttons and now it works every time no matter how i step on the button.
I hope that helps.

Hey Bstoner,
Pulled the bottom case and watched the little spring activate the switch, and sure enough it wasn't pressing it enough. Intead of moving the whole board, I loosened the individual main switch and moved it to line up with the micro switch on the board. Seems to be the fix! Thanks! You have actually help me before with info you post on the MTS board..if that is you, so double thanks!!

Im having the same problem. that why I got my controller so cheap. the problem is in the micro switch on the circuit board not the plunger with the spring. I need to know where to buy the micro switch to replace it myself. anyone know where to get one?
