amp gizmo and gcx/gc

Is anybody using an amp gizmo - I was able to get it to control the channel of my Boogie ( mk iv) but it neither responds to or is recognized by the ground control - I saw another post saying not to set it up as a device in gc and not to send anything on midi chanel 16 - but I can't get it to work - anybody using this ?

The Amp Gizmo can be controlled by any Ground Control unit with Program Change messages or Control Change messages. If you control the Amp Gizmo with Program Changes then you will need to name it as a device within the Ground Control. If you control the Amp Gizmo with Control Changes then you will need to set the Amp Gizmo to GCX Compatibility mode and enable the GCX within your Ground Control.

Hope u found out or fixed your problem. But wanted to chime in. I use the GCpro with the GCX straight into the RJM Gizmo than onto other midi devices. It works perfect!! One of the few things that have one right. But yes the Voodoo GC works the Gizmo without a flaw!
