2 gcx

i just purchased a 2nd GCX to go inline for switching between amps, to join the 2 gcx, all i need to do is midi them together and patch cable?

If you are using a Ground Control Pro then yes, the MIDI connection is that simple. MIDI Out of GCX 1 to the Pedal In of GCX 2. I am unsure exactly what your audio connections would be but to think of it like simply having loops 9 - 16 available now is probably the best advice at this point.
