Hi guys,

I have an oppurtunity to buy a second-hand GCX that is modded. The mod is that the loops are connected to each other internally and dosen't require that you use patch cables to connect each loop. Will this affect the unit in any way? I plan on using some loops for pedals that I want to switch in and out in front of my amp, another for effects loop based effects and other loops for channel switching on my Mark V. I'd like to hear what you guys think before I bite the bullet

Actually I found my answer by digging a little deeper in the forum. Turns out with the loops internally wired, the GCX won't be able to be used for switching amp channels/features. Dayum!
