Hey guys

I have a big problem at the moment with my midi switching for my eventide. Basically im running it through channel 1 from the unit and of course the ground control. im having an issue with my eventide receiving commands from my ground control. it wont change patches. doesn't happen all the time but it will every now and then. i cant seem to find the problem. Ive change channels, cables but still nothing. as i said, it only happens sometimes but truth be told i cant have it happen when im on stage which sadly.....it did

has anyone had this problem and can anyone help. Ive emailed eventide too

Is the TimeFactor the only MIDI device in this particular rig?

No its not. I have a lexcion rack which is my first chain from my GCX. this runs on midi channel 2. truth is that this occurred before i got the lexcion. As i said its every now and then. ive changed my cables but i have a feeling it might be something else.

So I assume that the Lexicon device always responds as it should? If that is the case then that would show that the Ground Control Pro is at least always sending data as programmed.
Try jumping around a few presets to see if the failure can somehow be repeated or if when the TimeFactor does not respond that perhaps it always fails to load a specific patch.

what i normally do is switch off the unit and turn it back on again. 80% of time it solves the problem but as i said i cant have that happen on stage while im playing. I thought it might of been a particular patch but i have noticed that it's NOT the same patch. Tried updating the timefactor but problem is still there. i guess you right John, its not the GCX cause my lexicon is working perfect.
