factory authorized upgrade to convert loops to stereo in GCX

Can i get information about the cost and the procedure of converting my GCX loops to Stereo, to free up one side of it as mono loops for more mono stompboxes, such as overdrives? My stereo delays are gobbling up my loops!

Is this something a competent person can perform, or does the unit have to be shipped to VL for the conversion? I want to minimize my downtime because I can't operate my rack without my beloved GCX!!!

You can order a stereo replacement board from Voodoo Lab Tech Support for $100 and install it yourself. I suspect it's a simple matter of removing the 16 retaining nuts for either the Loops 1 thru 4 or Loops 5 thru 8 jacks and swapping out the Mono board for the Stereo one. I don't think anything else is holding the board in place physically, but there is also a pair of jumper cables that will need to be disconnected/reconnected.

Loops 5 thru 8 on my GCX are stereo, although I bought it that way and did not do the mod myself. Here are a couple of pics of the interior, so you can see why I believe this is a fairly simple mod that any reasonably competent person could do:
