GCX and Wireless Question

What signal path would be best:

1. Wireless > GCX Guitar In (front of unit) > Guitar Out (from back) > Loop 1 In...

or

2. Wireless > GCX Loop 1 (from back)

On setup one, I have the Feed Thru a rack tuner, and on setup two I have the rack tuner in one of the loops (loop 1).

I'm asking cause I know the buffer on the GCX can color the tone, but don't know if the wireless buffer is enough. Using the Shure P series (I think that's the model, it's the medium range quality version).

Thanks for your input!

PJ

For what it's worth, there is no right or wrong here; go with the one that sounds best to you. That's all that counts.

Another option is to run the output of the wireless to the rear panel Feedthru, use a short patch cable to connect the front panel Feedthru to the Guitar In, then run the Guitar Out to the first loop you are using. This makes it easy to switch to a regular guitar cable if you need to by pulling the patch cable off the front of the rack and plugging the guitar directly to the Guitar In.

Good Luck!
