Eventide Time Factor MIDI control

Hello everyone,
I was just wondering whether you could help me out with a couple of short questions.
I own Time Factor and for some reason I can't program it correctly. I'm pretty sure I'm missing something that is really basic so maybe you guys could shed some light. What I basically need to do is to assign a MIDI channel on the Timefactor so that it takes Program Change commands from Ground Control Pro. I know how to access the MIDI channel menu and change the MIDI channel itself (to let's say, MIDI channel 2) and I think that the reason for it not obeying the changes that the GCP dictates is the XMIT or RCV options. I went through the manual a couple of times but can't figure out which one I should change :S
Another issue I'm dealing with is hooking up my MIDI controlled amp (a Rhodes Colossus) to my RJM RG 16 (to which the Eventide is also connected). What should the connections be for the Time Factor to be successfully hooked to one of the RG16's loops and for all three of them to be controlled by GCP?
Thanks in advance guys!

Sorry for the belated reply! Yes, I'm using 4 Presets per bank in order to be able to control the loops on RG16. Any ideas of what I should do to get this right?

Have you programmed your GCPro to recognize the Timefactor as a device on a particular MIDI channel? See Pages 6 and 7 in your GCPro Manual.

You should also set the MIDI Receive Channel on the TimeFactor to the corresponding device number channel on the GCPro. See Pages 34 and 35 in your Timefactor manual.

Since you are using an RJM RG16 as opposed to a GCX, I would advise making the RG16 Device 1 on your GCPro. Your MIDI cables should run out of the GCPro and into the RG16, then out of the RG16's MIDI Thru into the Timefactor. The RG16 has separate MIDI connectors for two amplifiers, but since I don't own either an RJM RG16 or a Rhodes Colossus, I'm not even going to guess on how you should connect them. If I may respectfully suggest, perhaps you should contact the customer support departments for those two companies.

Anyway, presuming you now have your GCPro and Timefactor MIDI channels programmed correctly, and the MIDI cables are properly connected, if you are running in 4 Presets/Bank mode and are in Bank 1, stepping on any one of the buttons on the bottom row should cause your Timefactor to change to the corresponding Preset. If you step on 2 and it changes to 3, see Page 17 in your GCPro manual.
