I'm having a lot of problems setting up my rig. I know some of you have used this set up, so I wonder if anyone can please help me here.
First, the GC was controlling the Tri and GMajor on the same channel. I wanted the GMajor to stay on one channel and only switch the Tri. I couldn't get this to work.
Then I did something where the GC is only controlling the GMajor and won't send anything to the Tri.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Since you didn't mention what model Ground Control you're using, I'm guessing it's a Ground Control Pro, so MIDI-wise the Out from your GCPro should go to your Triaxis MIDI In, and the Tria Axis MIDI Out should go to the G-Major MIDI In.
Referring to the section entitled DEVICE NAME/CHANNEL on Page 6 in your GCPro Manual, set your Triaxis as Device 01 on MIDI Channel 1 and your G-Major as Device 2 on MIDI Channel 2. Make sure your Triaxis and G-Major are configured to recognize incoming MIDI data on those respective channels.
Referring to the section entitled ASSIGNING MIDI PROGRAM CHANGES on Page 17 in your GCPro Manual, select a preset on the GCPro, enter edit mode, and for each device enter the desired program number.
For those Presets where you only want to change the Triaxis program number, refer to the instructions on the bottom of Page 17 which explain how to NOT send a MIDI Program Change with a preset. These instructions would only apply to Device 02 (your G-Major), so when you switch to these presets only your Triaxis will change.

Thanks! Actually I have the older original Ground Control. I don't know if the controls are that much different though.
Thanks again,
Jeff

im running a GCP/GCX/G-force/Triaxis/tc nova drive.
all i can say, is that make sure your midi chain makes sense. mine is as follows.
midi out from the gcp --> gcx -->g-force -->triaxis -->nova make sure you are using the proper midi in/outs...and only use a through if your device doesnt have one.
secondly, make sure each device is listening on its own midi channel...make a chart, it helps.
in my case
my gcx listens on midi channel 16
my triaxis listens on channel 2
my g-force on channel 1
and the nova on channel 5
i also have a midi event programmer listening on channel 15
when building your presets on the GCP make sure you have all your devices midi channels set properly.
the triaxis i've noticed can get a little grumpy about where it is in the chain, so you may want to try a few different combinations
