GCP and G-Major 2 prob...

Hallo Guys got a prob...
My GCP and GCX are linked with a G-Major 2 and an ENGL MIDI switcher.
Everything works fine.
When changing presets on the GCP, the G-Major2 and the ENGL are respoding like it should be.
On the GCP, I got 4 preset switches and 8 CC switches configured, and so in each preset I can switch on, for instance, the delay or the reverb or something else on the G-Major 2. When switching on an effect on the GCP, the led of the corresponding switch becomes active, as on the G-Major2. All fine!
Only, for some G-Major2 presets, the delay and/or the reverb are on in default. When I swtch the preset on, the delay and/or the reverb leds of the G-Major2 are on, but the corresponding leds on the GPC stays unactive...
This is confusing...
Is it possible that the G-Major2 "informs" the GCP wich effects that are on in default when a preset has been changed?
Would be very uselful!
Thanks!

Hope I've explained this properly and someone can help me...

In its most common usage, there is only one MIDI Cable connected to the GCPro, that being from the GCPro MIDI Out to the GCX Pedal In. That being the case, your GCPro is only sending MIDI data, so with no MIDI data coming in there is no way for it to know the status of various effects on a device such as the G-Major 2.

While not the most convenient, the easiest way for you to sync up the LEDs between your GCPro and GM-2 would be to call up a preset that has the delay and/or reverb active, then enter the Edit Preset mode and activate the corresponding delay and/or reverb IA switches. Save the preset and next time you call it up all your LEDs should be lit.

Unfortunately, you'll have to repeat this process for each problematic preset.

Let us know how you make out.
