GCX Buffers too much.....?

I'm running two GCX's, one is a DMC version and the other was purchased last summer, with a GC Pro. Here's how it's set up:
Guitar In>Guitar out(back of unit)>Barber Tone Press>
Loop 1-Fulltone Fat Boost>
Loop 2-Barber Gain Changer>
Loop 3-Fulltone OCD>
Loop 4-Eventide Time Factor>
Loop 5-Fulltone Deja Vibe>
Loop 6-Q Tron>
Loop 7-Leslie 760 Speaker>
Loop 8-To pedal board(CAE Buffer>Digitech Tuner>Whammy>Crybaby 95Q>Line 6 Delay Modeler)>
2nd GCX Loop 1-POG2>
Loop 2-Ibanez TS9>
Loop 3-H&K Rotosphere>
Loop 4-Voodoo Lab Tremolo>
Mesa Boogie Blue Angel 4x10 Combo
Tone Press, Fat Boost, Gain Changer(18 volt), Time Factor and Tremolo are all powered by an ISO 5. Other pedals powered by their respective wall warts. Pedals on pedalboard powered by PP2. Then a Furman Rack Mount Supply and Furman Plug Lock.
I am having an issue with the Tone Press and Fat Boost losing volume. I cannot get anywhere close to a unity level. They are both hooked into the newer model GCX I have. This was never an issue before. The GCX's are connected via a midi cable. What am I missing? How much affect does cable impedance make? I used Mogami 2319 and soldered my own cables. Also, any advice on pedal order is appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your time.
