Ground Control Pro and Mission Engineering Exp Pedal

Hoping for a little assistance from the experts:

I noticed in another post John mentioned the Mission Engineering TT switch as an IA option for tap tempo. I was wondering if you have any experience with their SP-2 exp pedal.

Specifically it it a 2 channel exp pedal with a switch to change outputs. My question is - what happens to the deactivated exp input on the GCP when I switch between?

Looking to use this with a G-Major or G-Force with one to control Vol and the other modifiers...

James at Mission said it could work, but depends on the CCs getting sent when "disconnected"

Thanks

I'm not so sure what you are talking about will work. Once the cable is connected to the Expression pedal port, and that port is enabled within a Ground Control Pro preset and assigned to send a CC message, I don't think there is anything you could do at the expression pedal end that won't result in the Ground Control Pro sending some CC data... however the Expression Pedal ports target device and CC# are programmed per preset on the Ground Control Pro. This means that a single expression pedal can perform a unique function on each preset if you wanted to. For instance, on Ground Control Pro preset 01 it can be volume, on Ground Control Pro preset 04 it could be a vibe speed control, on Ground Control Pro preset 22 it can be a pitch control.

Ahhh - so effectively, I could have the exp pedal control volume for majority of presets, but if I have a Wah preset, then it can control the sweep instead.

Thanks again.
