When I connect my guitar in the front "guitar in", and when my GCX back "Guitar out" or "Guitar thru" is connected directly in my "amp in" (Mesa Mark V), it produces a lot of noise on my crunch channels. But if I plug my guitar in the front "Guitar thru", then there's no more noise... I also made the test that if I connect my guitar directly to my amp, not using the GCX at all, there's no noise...
So, it's the buffer that makes all that noise! I though the buffer was reducing noise.
By the way, I use a Gibson Les Paul Classic, with high output p-ups.
Using buffered "Guitar in" on GCX causing noise!

Just curious...what happens if you use a different guitar?

What sort of noise... Buzzing, hissing, AM Radio, Ethel Merman gargling chili?
