I'm using two GCX units, controlled by Ableton.
the loops switch on and off fine, but, I assume because of the way ableton does midi notes, the MIDI activity light is always solidly lit.
I have no loss in functionality, I just want to verify that no harm will come to my GCXs from having a signal constantly sent to those relays, or however it works.

If the LED is lit up solid, I would assume that you have first sent the MIDI SysEx message that configures the two standard GCX units to listen to a different set of Control Change messages. If so, then this is normal. Also, the LEDs will flash whenever MIDI Data is sent to the GCXs.

yes, i've sent a sysex message to manually assign them as #1 and #2.
