can you PLEASE help me on my Rack gear, GCX & Ground Control

Just recently bought a rack set up having been on singles for years but struggling... Been doing lots of reading and almost there but a few points.

My set up is this... (in order in the rack):

- Voodoo Lab GCX Audio Switcher
- TC Electronics G Major 2
- Boss GX 700
- Single Pedals (going through the audio switcher): Rat / Blues Driver / Tubescreamer / Big Muff
- Voodoo Lab MIDI Ground Controller


I am using my Boss for wierd sounds and the TC for very basic modulation sounds, nothing wierd (the boss gives good wierd stuff and TC has amazing Modulation sounds).

Anyway its all wired up but the boss will only work when the TC is being used. I cant seem to have the TC without an effect and the Boss running alone. What do you think is up? The set up is this - Im struggling having read the manual countless times as its all so new to me:

WIRED UP:
Ground controller into the GCX Audio Switcher (Via MIDI - Pedal In Input) > MIDI Out (of the GCX) goes to MIDI In of the TC G Major > The Feed Thru goes to the Input of The Boss > The last bit of the chain of my Single pedals (From the GCX) goes from its out to the Balanced input (Left Mono of the TC G Major) > The Balanced output of the TC is going to my amp and the Boss has the input connected to the balanced output of the TC (by 1/4" Jack)

Ill try and get some pics up on here of the back of it. Its something to do with how i have connected them and im really struggling... Is there anyone that can help me please? Id greatly appreciate it.

This is a little confusing... Are you running two outs from the G-Major2? Where is the output of the GX700 going?
