I have my setup like this,

LOOP1-TS-9
LOOP2-ZW44OD
LOOP3-(IN AMP FX LOOP)-BBE SONIC MAX
LOOP4-G-MAJOR
LOOPS5-8-AMP CHANNEL SWITCHING

My question is, I have it set up with instant access, everything works
fine as far as being able to switch all loops on and off but can I create
user patches in the gmajor to switch with my presets on my gcp.Or do
I need anoter gcx to setup my gmajor like individual stompboxes?

THANKS,
Dan

you have to send a program change to the g major on the preset and that program has to be assigned to your preset in the g major. make sure you turn on the loop in the gcx that is connected to the g major, which is loop 4 in your case. i have the exact same setup as you so let me find the page in the g major manual. check out midi mapping on page 18. remember your gcx is essentially 8 on/off switches. since you hooked up your g major to your gcx, the only thing you can do is turn it off or on and if you want to control parameters within the g major, you can do that with the instant access buttons via CC

Unless you changed the MIDI channels thing are operating on, this should work out of the box. Both devices default to MIDI channel 1. The Ground control Pro presets will send the necessary Program Change to recall the numbered G-Major patches. Check the Assigning MIDI Program Changes section under Edit Preset in the Ground Control Pro manual for specific instructions.
