Hey guys - Is there any way to back up and / or edit the ground control pro via a computer? I'd like to be able to have everything backed up on my Macbook so if it crashes on tour I don't have to reprogram everything manually.
Cheers
Tommy

Yes, this can be done with any MIDI sequencing hardware or software. Check out the Memory Backup and Restore section in MIDI under Setup Mode in the Ground Control Pro manual for what to do on the Ground Control Pro to send the memory dump.

Anyone have some suggestions on a cheap software/hardware setup to perform this kind of backup and programming?
M-Audio makes the "USB Uno 1X1 MIDI Interface" which is cheap...but no included software.
Thoughts?

oh great, this was another question i was going to ask.....now i know you can dump the ground control system data, but is there any software that i need to have running in order to do this? I have a mac too, but i'll also want to make a backup on pc if my mac is unavailable. I have an m-audio uno as well

This software is nice for a backup, but you can't switch around presets and create and store new setlists. Is there any software for PC that can manage that? Thanks for your help, Gernot

That would be great. Even better if it was mac compatible. What about it, Josh?
